Valentines Day

 This is Elle's valentine art for the day...she loves to color and loves for me to help her.

 For Valentines night, we had a Chopped date night with some other couples and we had so much fun! Our secret ingredients were: beef, shrimp, crab, mushrooms, brie cheese, whipping cream, berries, cinnamon and cayenne pepper. This is what our team came up with...

 Marinated Flank steak with a glaze on top...

 crab with guacamole dip...

 tortellini with artichokes and shrimp and cream sauce...

Stuffed mushrooms with crab, spinach, pecans, and cream cheese...

Oven roasted tomatoes with brie cheese and spices.

Dessert was homemade ice cream with chocolate ganash. It was such a fun evening cooking and eating with friends. This is one of our very favorite date nights with our friends!
