Oceanside

 1st day on the beach and the kids are HAPPY!!!

 These 2 played so well every time we were on the beach. They would get brave and go in the water, play with sand toys, and dig up the wet sand.

 At our condo, there was a surf board, so Regan decided to give it a try. The only bad thing was that it was too small and didn't keep him up very well. Snorkeling was his favorite thing to do on the beach.

 These 3 were so cute-playing in the sand and being covered from head to toe in sand!

 We loved walking on the pier, looking at the fisherman. The time we were at oceanside was actually beautiful sunny weather! Usually when we go in August, it is grey and cold.

 These 2 became boogie boarding buddies! They would boogie board for hours and hours. At first I was scared for Sunny to be out boogie boarding, but she got the hang of it pretty fast and figured out how to get a good wave!

 Every beach day we had, we would have the same routine:
8am-Regan sets up the tent to get a good spot on the beach
9am-breakfast and get dressed
10am-everyone heads to the beach {the tent we had was so awesome because we had a ton of shade}
3:30pm-clean up everything at the beach and head to the pool to swim and get the sand off
6:00pm-get back to the condo and get dressed and dry
7:00pm-walk to go find dinner {we went to an awesome pizza place twice} and walk on the beach
9:00pm-movie and bed

 Emery has deemed Regan his BFF for life! He really doesn't want anything to do with me. He would hang out with Regan all day every day!

 The first beach day, Emery would run away from the water when it came near him. The rest of the days he figured out that he loved the water!!!

Regan made this awesome turtle. I was thinking about why I love the beach so much and I think it comes down to-it is relaxing for the adults and fun for the kids. I was able to just sit on my chair and watch the kids have a blast in the sand and water. What is better than a beach vacation? We had SOOOOO much fun!!!!
