Emery turned 3 years old on MAY THE 4th BE WITH YOU!!! It was on a Sunday, so he was lucky to celebrate all weekend long! We started the celebration out on Friday night by taking the kids to the Graeters Flag ship store for some famous ice cream.
On Saturday, we took the fam to the Columbus Zoo. We always have our routine-start out by petting the goats, go to North American to see the Polar Bears, then have Riley decide where we will go from there.
Emery wanted to go on a Pony ride, so the King got his wish.
Sunday Morning, Emery woke up and was SUPER excited to open his presents!!! His bed head is so crazy since his hair is so long!
This is the 1st birthday that Emery was actually really into the birthday stuff...he loved opening up each present and was so excited to see what presents he got!!!
We gave him this sand and water table and he LOVES it! It is on the back deck so he can go out there anytime to play with the water and purple sand!

I honestly cannot believe my BABY is 3 years old! It honestly feels like it was yesterday when I was at my Dr's appointment with Elle when my Doctor told me I was dilated to an 8 and to run to the labor and delivery wing of the hospital!!! Elle was sitting right there when they broke my water and gave me an epidural! Luckily, my Dad took Elle home and my mom and Regan were able to make it for the delivery of our last baby!!! Crazy day!!!
Before we went to church, we continued the animal theme for Emery's birthday and colored animal masks.
Emery chose the shark and was interested in coloring for 5 minutes...
Elle chose the Lion, Sunny chose the cat, Riley chose the dog, Regan chose the monkey and I colored the frog. When we all finished the masks, we laid them all out and had Emery choose his favorite mask..he chose Riley's dog mask!

Emery has a BFF and his name is DAD...he loves watching funny videos before church...
After church, we came home and started a fire in the back yard to roast hot dogs for Emery's bday dinner.
He loved roasting the hot dogs and it was a perfect evening.
Emery's Animal Birthday Cake...
Well, I think the birthday boy had a good day/weekend! We fit a lot of fun things in, and celebrated the life of our Bubby!!! This little kid just makes me SO happy! He is with me more than anyone else, so he is my little side kick all day long. He says the funniest things, he loves to sing and dance, he loves playing with kids, playing with dogs, and playing on our play set, and playing with his siblings. He follows Regan around everywhere and is constantly asking if he drove his car or flew an airplane to work. He is so adorable with his chubby cheeks and beautiful curly hair. I just am so grateful that Emery came to our family because we are complete with him.
