1st Month

The first month of Winnie's life flew by! It is just not fair that when you are pregnant, time just stands still and you are pregnant forever-it seems. Yet, when the baby comes, all you want is for time to stand still and it just goes by so fast.
When we checked out of the hospital literally 24 hours after Winnie was born, we were so excited to show her to the kids. Instead of having the kids come to the hospital at 8:00 at night, we just checked out and came home to show them their new little sis! They were SO happy to see her and couldn't wait to take turns to hold her!

The Fabulous Fackrell Five together for the 1st time!
The Fackrell Family became a family of 7!
Winnie gave each of the kids a gift!
All of the kids just wanted to hold her all of the time!
Dressing Winnie up and snuggling her all day are my favorite things to do!
Our sweet next door neighbors were so excited to come meet the newest neighbor! They decked her out with OSU apparel!
Since my Mom was with us the first week, I was able to just snuggle this little girl all day! I am so grateful for everything my Mom did to help us!
One night, My Mom and I were watching a documentary on Karen Carpenter and my Mom was holding Winnie when she said, "she is doing the fencing position!" I had never heard of that before, and my Mom had never seen it before, but its when a baby puts one arm up and one arm down. So funny!
Dressing her up with cute clothes and bows is so much fun!

My Mom made this gorgeous quilt for Winnie!

Winnie is the same size as the girls American Girl Dolls!

I wore this dress when I was a baby!
Our sweet friends made us this banner to welcome home Winnie!
The last picture of Grammy and the kids before she had to go back to Utah! She helped us out So much!

Addressing Christmas Cards with this little girl on my lap was the best!
Winnie's first bath! She loves baths!
 Cozy soft jammies!
First time to Church with the crew!
Church dress she wore on her first Sunday to church.

Winnie has not gone a day without a bow!!

Twinner dresses with her sisters! A dream come true!

 Winnie's first smile

1 month went by so fast, but I will say that I have no regrets. I have savored every second with this precious girl and I am just obsessed with her. She smells so good, she is such a great baby, she gets hundreds of kisses a day, and she completes our family!
