Regan flew from South Dakota to Wisconsin for work, and we caravanned from South Dakota to Wyoming with Regan's Mom and Sisters fam!! Since living in Ohio, every time we see mountains now, we really think they are beautiful and don't take the beauty for granted anymore!
We went to a beautiful mountain top on our way to Brady's house. We had a picnic, the kids played with bubbles wands, and Uncle Brady taught the kids how to fish!!!
We had a fun time at Uncle Brady's house for a day in Sheridan, then headed on to Burlington!
This is the name Riley is named after. The family name Riley...
Grandpa Riley's grave in the Burlington Cemetery
Nana measuring everyone's height on Grandma Riley's wall.
This picture is on Grandma's fridge. It is Regan wearing Grandpa Riley's overalls.
Grandma Riley's overalls.
It was so great visiting and staying with Grandma Riley. Regan has such wonderful childhood memories of spending his summers in Burlington, Wyoming and I am so glad he got to have a wonderful time on this awesome ranch!
Wyoming is gorgeous and we had a wonderful time here!
Grandma Riley paints these owls on old wood, and has more than 200 owls that she collects in her house! The kids had a fun time counting all of the owls in her house!
From Burlington, we went to Thermopiles and swam in the hot springs!
This water smells SOOO bad, but the water is so warm and feels so good!
We had a nice time walking around the hot springs in Thermopiles!
We drove by the special place where Regan proposed to me 15 1/2 years ago!
Such a beautiful place! The funny thing is that Regan knew at a very young age that he wanted to propose to the person he wanted to marry at this place!
Regan & Andrea right after Regan proposed! February 2001!
15 1/2 years later...
The craziest thing happened on our way from Wyoming to Utah.
I saw this RV That said the Minnie Winnie last year on our big drive from Ohio to Utah and I said to Regan, "What do you think of the name Winnie for our baby" since I was still pregnant. He said he loved it and from that point on, we decided her name would be Winnie.
Fast forward a year later. I was driving all 5 kids by myself from Wyoming to Utah and all of a sudden, I see the SAME RV with the name Minnie Winnie that I had seen last summer on the road! I had Riley take a picture of it to document how Winnie got her name! I remember the font on the trailer and still cannot believe we saw this RV 2 summers in a row!
