Utah highlights

These kids are so lucky! They have the best of all worlds for the summer...Ohio friends for the first and last part of summer, family fun in Utah in the middle! Being at Grammy's house was a dream! Her garden was just beautiful!
For my birthday, I wanted to go to Color me mine! All of the girls in Utah came and we painted bowls and cups while having a fun time chatting! I have gotten to know Robby's girlfriend this summer and she is awesome!
I was able to spend an evening with Regan's sisters, Chelsea and Melanie!!!
The American Fork Half Marathon with my Herriman friends was a huge highlight! I trained for only 1 month, and did the goal I set out to do: don't stop running!  Running down the canyon was simply beautiful! I love the mountains even more so now since I don't live by them anymore!

After the race, I could not find the girls anywhere! I walked all over the place and to make matters worse, my phone died right before the finish line! After walking for what seemed like miles, I asked random people to use their phones and try and get a hold of someone to help me find my group! FINALLY, I found the girls and they were so amazing. They all gave me a huge hug and said, "we have been looking for you all over! We were so worried about you!" I started crying!!!

This scenario was the complete opposite of the ogden half marathon I did years before with some people in South Weber. It was cold and raining at the finish line and they couldn't find me, so they left me at the race! These Herriman girls are just amazing ladies and I am grateful for their friendship!

Going to Temple Square to see the Temple and the Joseph Smith Memorial building.

Riley went to scout camp with  scout troop he had never met! I was so proud of him for being so outgoing and fearless! At his age, I would have been terrified to do this, but Riley made friends IMMEDIATELY! I am so proud of this guy!
They went to the Uintah Mountains for Scout Camp! WOW! What a great opportunity!

I loved spending time with my friend Manon! We helped her pass ice cream out of her ice cream truck to a party of old people!!! My kids were in Heaven!!!

I got my hair done by my friend Stephanie! I look forward to getting it done by her each summer!

We went to Thanksgiving Point twice with Nana! The kids had so much fun!
My Parents celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary! We were invited to celebrate with them at the beautiful restaurant, Tuscany in Salt Lake City!
 Happy 37th Anniversary!
 Aunt Lisa and Winnie!
Regan and I were a part for our 15th wedding anniversary, so he sent me these beautiful roses! We had to post pone our anniversary celebration for a few weeks!
We went on the coolest hike with my Mom on the Draper Mountain. This suspension bridge was so cool!
My Mom is such a great hiker!

We picked Riley up from the Uintah mountain one day early so we could drive to California the next day! Yep, looks like he had a great time! When we pulled up, the boys all started chanting, "O H I O" which was Riley's nickname at scout camp!
He was so dirty and stinky, but SOOO happy!

I got to spend a fun evening with my old Friend, Karen! our son's are both going into kindergarten!

Chrissy was so great with all of my kids this summer! We saw this bow in a boutique and thought it was so cute, but so HUGE!
GRAMMY DAY is something these kids look forward to every summer!!! They all wanted to paint pottery at Color me Mine!

Getting the best shaved ice at Houkaliea is our favorite summer treat!!!
Emery LOVED the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point!
 Pokemon Go is getting annoying....
 Winnie and Nana!
 Digging for bones
 The Cousins having fun together!
Eating yummy ice cream at leatherby's!
Eating Roasted Corn at Draper Days! The oldies concert was so awesome!

Sunny and Kaycie had a sleepover and did word searches! SO cute!
The Well's even taught Sunny how to ride a motorcycle!

Riley begged me to let him stay at the Well's house for longer when I picked him up after I got back from Aruba! Such a fun place to hang out! So glad we have kept our friendship with them all these years!

Seven Peaks water park with Kaycie and Jaxson!
While Regan and I were in Aruba, my parents had to leave early, so the younger 3 went to the Seethalers house and the older 2 went to the Well's house! All 5 of the kids had SOOOOO much fun! They all did not want to leave when I picked them up! I am so grateful for friends that help me out whenever I need help! These friends are so awesome because even though we live across the country and don't see or talk to each other very often, I feel like I can pick up right after we left off on! These girls are so awesome and I am lucky to have such great friends!
