Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2014

For Thanksgiving this year, we decided to drive from Ohio to Connecticut to be with my sister and her family. They have been to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade twice before and just thought it was amazing, so we wanted to join in the fun with them! Brett and Regan went out at 5:30 to secure spots for the parade, and the kids and I joined him at 7:30!

It was cold, but I was impressed with how well everyone did! We made it through the whole parade except the last 20 minutes--just so cold! We stayed in the world smallest hotel room, but believe me, we were so grateful to warm up in that small hotel room!!
I have been watching the parade on Thanksgiving day since I was a little girl. This was so awesome to be right in NYC for the parade!! It is something we will always remember! Mom of the year...I let the kids eat their candy from Dillons Candy Bar for Breakfast!!!

The clowns through confetti in my eye---I had to take my contact out to get the confetti piece out!
Thanks to the Bardsley family for hosting us! Seriously, it was such a fun Thanksgiving!
