Suzuki Violin Camp

Every year, we have the opportunity to go to Salt Lake for a whole week for violin camp! The kids love it which always shocks me because they are pretty much playing their violins for 4-5 hours a day! Some how, they love going year to year and they learn so much!!!
Riley was kind of on his own this year since I had to bring Sunny & Elle around to their classes. He loved his independence and had so much fun!
We would get to the school every morning at 8:45 and leave at 5:00! WOW! These kids were so good! Emery went to the day care for 4 hours a day and he loved it!!! That helped me out SO much!
Elle loved her Ear Training class!!! They danced to the 4 seasons music by Vivaldi!
When Riley had downtime, he would go to the common area and play on his phone...
Cotton Candy was a favorite treat of the week!

Elle loved meeting new violin friends!
Sunny was able to take master classes from Linda Fiore, one of the best teachers at institutes!
Elle matched her master class teachers pants one day!
So proud of Sunny for working so hard all week!
My little Elle looked adorable playing Minuet 1 by Bach at the final concert.

My Mom & Dad were so supportive during institute! They came to the kids final concerts and helped us out a ton!!! So grateful how supportive they are, especially when it comes to music!

I was able to see my old Violin friends at institute...we are all Suzuki Mom's now instead of students!
Riley had an awesome Master Class teacher from Hawaii, Helen Higa! He learned so much from her and had an fabulous week!
It was 100 degrees all week at violin camp, so to cool down, the girls wanted one of Regan's favorite treats-Bubble Tea with tapioca balls.
Sunny's violin posture improved tremendously throughout institute!
Riley loved his orchestra class! Sight reading is a hard skill, so this class helped a ton!

Riley was the youngest one in his classes and I was so proud of how he acted in the classes. I am so proud of him for wanting to get better at the violin and doing his best!
He was the 1st violinist in his quartet, and he rocked it!!!
Thanks Grammy & Grampy for your support with music and with violin camp!!!!
