The Brigham City temple opened this year, so I took the kids to the open house where they were able to see what the inside of the temple looks like. They asked a lot of questions and it was a really neat experience for us!

Riley's first time to scouts...he loves loves loves going to scouts and he has learned a ton of in it.
Regan and I celebrated 11 years of marriage! It was a wonderful year for us...here's to 50 more!!!
Regan and I were able to go to an amazing castle in Napa Valley and listen to Cathy Ireland and jam out to Kenny Loggins!
We spent Easter in St. George with the McKell family!
Our family won 2nd place for best costume at the Utah Symphony Halloween concert!!!
We took our annual trip to Oceanside, California...this is our families #1 favorite trip-beach and disneyland is what our kids want to do for our family vacation, so we figure we will do this for as long as they are loving it!!
We took a side trip to old town, san diego and had a fun time with the authentic mexican food and props!
We have trained our kids to love and be obsessed with BYU! I love this picture of everyone wearing their BYU outfits because it is evidence of what became of Regan and I and our meeting each other at BYU!
Regan competed in the Bear Lake Half Iron Man and we were so proud of him!!
Races have been a theme for our family this year...In January 2012, we came up with our new family theme... FACKRELL'S DO HARD THINGS!!!! I ran 3 half marathon's and got back into the pant size I wore in college!! That was a hard thing!!! Regan competed in multiple bike races, triathlons and of course the tour de donut. This year he worked harder physically than I have ever see him work!
Riley decided that his hard thing for the year would be to run in a 5k race and to ride his bike up the big hill we live on without stopping! He accomplished both of these goals!!!
We had 2 siblings get married this year--Andrea's brother, Scotty and Regan's brother, Jordan.
We have discovered that our second favorite family vacation is going to Moab. We went to Moab twice this year, and both times rented the same ranger to go on fun trails!!! The first trip we stayed in a hotel, went swimming, had a shower...pretty deluxe! The second trip we went on we tented it and that was not as deluxe...cold, port a potties {which Elle is now scared of} and dirty...but guess which one the kids liked better? Yep, roughing it outside!!!
Our family hiked up to delicate arch twice this year! It is a hard hike and so it was the perfect thing to do to fulfill our family theme...Fackrell's DO hard things!!
We love disneyland!! We love the character breakfast! Our kids are the perfect age to enjoy the magic of disneyland! The girls met Rapunzel and it was so magical!
