Riley's 10th Birthday!

I made these chocolate lego bricks and lego guys for weeks before Riley's party to be prepared! They turned out so cute!
Here is Riley's Birthday cake-it was a lot of fun decorating the cake with the chocolate lego bricks and guys

Riley was pretty excited about all of that chocolate!
We decided to have a birthday party for Riley and he chose to have it a LEGO theme! I was so excited because it seems to me like it will be the last party Riley will want to have with legos since he is growing up too fast! We started out having the boys color these lego guy papers while we waited for everyone to arrive to the party. The funny thing is I was thinking the boys were going to think this was dumb, but I couldn't pull them away from the papers! They were SO into it!
Weeks before the party, we separated the lego bricks into colors which took forever! The boys had 15 minutes to create anything they wanted with the colored bricks.
Each of the boys chose out a lego guy cup
The lego guys were the favorite thing to make during free play-and eating the m&ms

Here are the boys in front of their lego guy papers and showing their creations.
This cake was SO hard to not have because I LOVE chocolate! I had 1 taste of it!
One of the games was to shoot the nerf gun to hit the middle of the lego guy poster.
Here are the goody bags the kids took home full of chocolate lego bricks and guys and big gum balls.
This is what Regan looked like after all of the boys left the party! Hilarious!

Riley requested waffles for his bday breakfast...king for a day!
I honestly cannot believe my oldest child is 10 years old! CRAZY! He is such a good boy and I couldn't be prouder of him! He is a good big brother, an amazing violinist, the most outgoing kid I know and the friendliest kid. We love him so much!
Riley wanted me to bring in donuts to his classmates for his birthday-king for a day!
Our AMAZING neighbor, Dick Nagel came over on Riley's birthday to give him his favorite fruit-Pears! He has written down all of the kids birthday's and takes notes on what they like. He went to a few stores to find these pears just for Riley! Seriously, we feel so blessed to have him as our next door neighbor!

Grammy & Grampy, Lisa & Scotty, and Ashley & Brett all gave Riley BYU stuff which he was SO excited about!

He got the lego movie lego set which he is super excited to put together!
Our adorable neighbor who is Riley's friend in 4th grade came over to give Riley a birthday card...SO CUTE!
