Great Wolf Lodge Getaway

Regan was able to take the weekend off to take us to the Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio! Basically it is a big lodge with a water park inside. It was actually a lot of fun! It was seriously the perfect staycation for our family! The lodge was super cute, the water slides were so much fun and we even went to the lobby at night in our jammies to listen to a bed time story.

Every 5 minutes this huge bucket would dump a TON of water out and the kids loved running under the water! My favorite thing to do at the water park was go down a huge slide on a double tube with the kids. It was SO fast and it was fun screaming down the slide with the kids.
A side thing we did was thing game throughout the lodge called the Magi Quest. The kids got wands and had to do a scavenger hunt throughout the hotel and kept track of their progress by waving their wand on the things they found. The girls were into it for about an hour, but Riley got So into it that he played for HOURS!
While Riley was still playing the Quest game, we took the little kids to the kids camp. They of course wanted their faces painted with their favorite animals-Sunny, a cheetah
     Elle, a unicorn
 and Emery, a puppy
 He looked so funny!
 The kids colored with Regan
I think Regan won--I was actually impressed with his art skills!
They had so much fun playing in the kids camp.
At night, we went to the sweets  counter and everyone got a treat...cupcakes, chocolate marshmellows, fudge, and Emery's choice-Strawberry milk...
He sucked that strawberry milk down Super fast! It was so hard for me to not have a treat-Just 1 bite of the girls fudge and Riley's marshmellow is what I got!
Here is Riley and Elle with the Magi Quest Wands
We did the water park on Friday for 3 hours and Saturday for 6 hours!
Emery loved jumping off of this water snake.

Riley spent hours with the magi Quest with a new friend he met in the hotel
My assessment of the Great Wolf Lodge was an A plus! Fun for the kids and a fun winter getaway!
