Sheridan, Woming

We made the trek to Sheridan, Wyoming this year to spend Thanksgiving with Regan's brother's family. It took us 9 hours to get there, and we spent 3 days with Brady's family. We had so much fun with his family...our kids loved spending lots of time with cousins, Regan of couse had fun with Brady and found his way to Sheridan's workout places and ran a turkey trot. 

On the way home, it took us a little longer to get home because we stopped in Thermopolis, Wyoming and swam in the hot pots for 3 hours! The water was so warm and we had so much fun...the kids seriously didn't even want to leave after the 3 hours, but we had to get back on the road! We all smelled like sulfur though and that was gross.

 Everyone but me watched Brady's frog eat 6 goldfish...my kids were like, "wow...so this is what its like to have a pet!"

 The day after Thanksgiving, we walked down Sheridan's main street for their annual holiday stroll. It was so much fun to see up close all of the cool shops and art on main street...here is a carved to tum pole.

 Riley thought he was so big when Uncle Brady let him walk their dog, Trinity. Man...these kids want a dog more than ever!!!

 We took the kids to the park after Thanksgiving dinner and it was 34 degrees...that did not keep Emery from smiling and laughing on the swings!

 The whole week, Emery was with Brady's dog, Trinity! He loved petting the dog, being licked, chasing the dog, and playing catch! If we couldn't find Emery, we would go downstairs only to find Emery lying on the dog pillow snuggling up to the dog!!! Oh man...now the whole dog discussion has been re opened!!!!!

 Uncle Brady took the kids on animal hunts...they found buffalo, elk, deer, and turkey's!!!

This is your classic Santa picture...you know, the one where the baby is screaming bloody murder! Riley, Sunny and Elle were so excited to tell Santa what they wanted for christmas...Riley wanted skylanders, Sunny wanted a puppy, Elle wanted dream lites, and Emery wanted to get off of Mrs. Claus' lap asap!

 On Thanksgiving night, I went to Walmart with Regan & Brady for Black Friday Sales!! The boys were in charge of waiting in line for Brady's 60 inch flat screen tv, and I was in charge of the toy list for Sharon. The boys were really surprised when they saw Walmart's parking lot totally full, but I was not! This was not my first rodeo! I got my cart, and went to town finding the items on Sharon's list. I was so happy that I found every single thing on that list. Even a doll that was on the list was all gone, but I managed to find her in a totally random spot and everyone kept asking me where I found it!!!

When we got home, I was on a total Christmas shopping high...I couldn't even go to sleep because I was so happy that we had gotten everything we set out to get!!! That was a very fun night...especially braving the crowds with 2 black friday first timers!!!
