I have been on a mission to lose
Weight these past 4 months and
It has not been easy!
Weight has made its way on me after having 4 kids, and now that I am finished having kids, weight is going to make its
Way off of me!
When I say it's hard, I'm not kidding! I have to watch everything I eat, I have to
Drink a ton of water, and I have to workout harder than I have ever worked out!
Lately, during my workouts I have been working out so hard that I am actually dripping sweat...I never sweat, so this tells me I am working HARD!
This morning, I did something I have never done. I ran a mile in 8:15...just to say what a big deal this is, when I was 18 years old, a freshman in college, I had to run the mile in under 15 minutes to pass my gym class. I ran that mile in 14:55 and I honestly thought I was going to
Die!!!!
Fast forward from 1998 to 2014...
I have had 4 kids and ran that dang mile in 8:15!! I was so proud of myself. My face was so red and I was dripping with sweat, but I did it without dying!
I have lost 20 pounds in 4 months, and I am loving my healthy lifestyle. The thing that I am nervous about is maintaining my new weight...it's so easy to fall back into past habits, so I will be working at this every day.
Unfortunately, weight will be a word that sticks with me for the rest of my life, but the way I look at it, at least it will keep me healthy by working out and eating good food.
