Our California Trip Consisted of 2 different parts:
Part 1-Anaheim, American Family Events {we met a bunch of awesome people from Ohio since Regan is now the State Director for Ohio. This part did not feel like a vacation at all. Managing crazy Emery in his terrible 2's glory was crazy, talking and meeting to a ton of people while managing 4 kids and looking like our own freak show was super hard. Needless to say, part 1 was not relaxing!
Part 2-Being in Oceanside for a whole week was the relaxing part that we needed! Letting the kids do whatever they wanted, not making Emery be quiet all of the time, giving in to his crazy needs {like giving him his binky 24/7} and going to the beach almost every day was awesome! We broke up the beach days by going to LA and walking on the Venice Beach board walk. I am so glad we took this time in Oceanside for Part 2 of our trip because we were able to have fun, relax, and spend good quality time as a family before the craziness of moving approaches!
Speaking of moving, we actually sold our house while we were in OCEANSIDE! Our Realtor was vacationing in Oceanside as well and called us one morning to say that a family spent a bunch of time in our house and submitted an offer! That was the icing on the cake to our vacation! I dropped Regan off at the airport this morning so he can work in Ohio for 3 week before we can move there as well, so this trip was just perfect to spend a ton of time with him before we don't see him for a while! Emery is already struggling with not having his BFF away!!! Not to mention the Binky mysteriously disappeared!!!! :)
