Easter Baskets

 Well, the Easter Bunny made it to the Fackrell kids. I do have to admit that the Easter Bunny has great taste in clothes...each of the kids got a really cute outfit!!!

 Sunny of course LOVED her chocolate Sunny BUNNY!

 Each of the kids got a chocolate bunny with a different name. Sunny Bunny, Cookie Bunny, Yummy Bunny and Silly Bunny.

Why does everyone in my family like peeps but me? They are gross in my opinion but they sure do love them!
A friend asked me this year why we do Easter Baskets on Saturday, before Easter Sunday. It actually didn't even occur to me that we were different than most people. I grew up, we always did the fun Easter activities and baskets on Saturday and then focused on the Savior's resurrection, church and Easter family diner on Sunday. Now that we are on our own, and trying to establish our own traditions, I totally agree with this way-fun, Easter activities and candy on Saturday, focusing on Jesus Christ on Sunday. It is a tradition we will stick with!
